About Mark

Mark Hopwood has been teaching electric, acoustic and bass guitar in and around York for the last 28 years.

He is DBS registered and has worked for York City Council as one of their approved guitar tutors.

Mark has provided electric and acoustic guitar lessons at Dunnington, Poppleton and Lord Deramores Primary Schools as well as playing regular gigs up and down the country with his band.

Professional Tuition

Mark offers a wide variety of lessons which cover many different style’s including rock, pop, blues, metal, acoustic finger picking, bass, music theory, composition, improvisation and much more.

ROCKSCHOOL grades are also available for those who wish to obtain qualifications in music.
